Job Description:
· Strong customer focus with a drive to deliver standards of service to internal clients at least equivalent to external providers.
· Able to work with many simultaneous tasks in a pressurized, time-sensitive environment
· Able to drive significant change in a rapidly evolving organisation with little direction and without adversely impacting day-to-day delivery
· Able to direct others without having authority or seniority over them
· Able to ensure accurate information maintenance at all levels despite rapid and frequent changes
· Leadership skills and a high level of credibility at senior management level
· Understand how technology and process change adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer
· Ability to rapidly build and manage a strong network of relationships based on integrity and trust.
· Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels inside HSBC and with external third parties
· Extensive large budget/financial and business planning experience with high degree of financial acumen
· Relevant experience in a client-facing leadership role in Investment Banking Technology group
· Strong skills in creating executive level PowerPoint presentations articulating messages to the business and enabling/ facilitating decision making
· Able to work with autonomy and be a self-starter
· Highly proficient with Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering
· Postgraduate Accounting Qualifications
· Certification in an industry recognized project methodology
