Manufacturing Engineer

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the execution of manufacturing engineering for all machining processes and support of all current products and/or new products.
Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for all cylinder machining processes.
Manages diverse engineering functions and complex machining processes in our cylinder factory, assuring daily output, quality and performance to deliver +2,000 cylinders per day.
Is responsible for understanding product requirements and managing human and capital resources to meet the unit’s objectives.
Provides support and troubleshooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data and implements solutions.
Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.
Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs.
Estimate with a good level of certainty the amount of labor, space, equipment needed for a new product or redesign implementation.
Evaluates, justify and implements new manufacturing processes and technology.
Applies electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling and simulations.
Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing. Designs operations layouts.
Improves material flow and material presentation. Leads team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency of moderate scope.
Leads analysis, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.

What Skills You Need:
English Language – good level speaking and writing
Knowledge of one or more manufacturing processes like Cutting, Machining, Welding, Painting.
Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities.
Knowledge of capital budget &capital equipment justification process.
Background in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer Degree) Formal education to perform the essential functions of the job, degrees, certifications in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree or equivalent Knowledge of GD&T Knowledge of EPDP process is a plus Knowledge in Project management is a plus.

Education (or equivalent experience):
Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer Degree Formal education to perform the essential functions of the job, degrees, certifications in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree or equivalent experience
