Software Engineering – Unix Oracle
Some unsociable work hours will be required to provide overnight support and weekend working.
Candidate must have a
computer graduate degree and should be in an Application
Development and Support role with a good knowledge of:
• Broad understanding of Distributed Systems
technologies
• Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle database design and
tuning
• Working Knowledge of Batch
scheduling tools
• Unix (including shell scripting)
• Programming experience in UNIX, PL/SQL and some object oriented
programming.
• Experience on Supporting Financial Firm
Technology
Additional/advantage
Skill/knowledge
• Source code management
products
• ITIL Certification
• Good understanding of Application infrastructure
• Regulatory Reporting Domain working
experience is plus
• Knowledge in Agile methodologies including SCRUM, Kanban, JIRA and
other tools would be added advantage
