Fellow – Young Leaders Program – Kenia

You will work in teams of typically 3-5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of the client engagement.

This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations.

You will also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

The Young Leadership Program (YLP) is a two-year full-time consulting program that develops exceptional young local Kenyan talent into real leaders.

You will work as part of a client project team, collaborating with colleagues and clients to solve their toughest business problems.

At the end of the program, high-performing fellows progress into a business analyst role.

Qualification:

Undergraduate or master’s degree with an excellent record of academic achievement

Less than 1 year of continuous work experience in any industry

Proven record of leadership through extracurricular activities and/or in a work setting

Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English

Fellow – Digital Technology – Switzerland

You will take on a role that goes beyond advising. You’ll be at the heart of the action—helping to uncover the true challenges behind a client’s strategy and creating actionable plans that drive real change.

Working alongside clients and other McKinsey colleagues, you’ll combine research, analyzing data, interviews, and brainstorming to generate fresh insights and breakthrough solutions.

As you collaborate directly with clients, you’ll help them solve problems, refine strategies, and implement transformations.

Qualifications:

Master degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related technical related fields with outstanding record of academic achievement

Internships or first work experience, ideally in an area with exposure to technological topics (software engineering, cloud computing, cyber security, IT architecture, agile, transformation etc.)

Strong interest to explore the breadth of technology related topics

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively

Willingness to travel Fluency in German (for Zurich) or French (for Geneva) and in English

Fellow – Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice – Europe

As a consultant in our Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice, you will primarily work on strategy and corporate finance topics for the top management of leading companies worldwide.

In close cooperation with our clients, you provide support with strategic, commercial and procedural issues, for example around M&A or capital market transactions and in the preparation of business plans in the context of operational transformations.

Qualification:

You have completed your studies with above-average success and ideally have a second academic qualification.

You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills.

You bring with you both a high level of commitment and pronounced creativity and work equally well independently as part of a team.

You appear confident and convincing, are sociable and enjoy traveling.

You communicate convincingly in speech and writing – in both German and English.
