Network Engineer, Deployment and Support – USA
Job Description:
Drive deployment scaling efforts across the global edge network
Through automation identify and deliver process & tooling improvements to effectively spin up new infrastructure
Work with other teams, internal and cross-functional teams in order to perform escalations and work with system & tooling owners towards a resolution
Conceptualize, build, and maintain workflows and tools to support network deployments full lifecycle
Identify and deliver process & tooling improvement opportunities
Identify and improve Processes, workflows and tools that are manual, slow or sub-optimal
Work with other teams, internal and cross-functional teams in order to perform escalations and work with system & tooling owners towards a resolution
Identify and establish roadmap projects around process, workflow & tooling improvement opportunities
Handle second level escalations from deployment team
Help resolve on alerts, support tickets and any escalations
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 5+ years of networking experience
Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems and tools, and creative problem solving experience under pressure
Experience working within a global team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with no supervision
Solid understanding of Queue Management for tasks, incidents and vendors
Attention to detail with proven time management and organization skills
