Engineer – Turbine Operability – India
Job Description:
Progressive retirement of operability related engineering risks as part of the different phases of a new product introduction (NPI) cycle, ensuring turbine operation displays adequate levels of closed-loop stability, availability, robustness, and compliance to market-specific requirements such as grid codes, noise, cold weather, etc.
Perform controller tuning and operability assessments, collaborate with other sub-system and cross-functional teams for delivering on new products with high quality, from conceptual design to product validation stage; Project specific assessments to support new unit sales in ITO phase or project execution in OTR phase; Fleet issue resolution and root case analysis projects.
Enable the realization of system level tradeoffs (Energy production v/s Loads, etc.) via application of controls technologies/solutions, to minimize turbine cost while pushing envelope on turbine performance and availability.
Adopt new controller features and algorithms developed by the Controls organization as well as the ability to tune them to meet specific wind turbine systems trade-offs.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited university in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines with specialization in Controls.
Familiarity with aspects of controls theory such as system modelling, closed-loop design, and closed-loop analysis.
0-3 years in wind turbine or converter control tuning and optimizing.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Field Service Engineer (Preferred Electrical background) – Thailand
Job Responsibilities
All on site life extensions, repairs and inspection-related service activities able to be performed at customer site includes onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics.
Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Qualifications:
This role requires basic experience in the Services & On Site Services. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Hold Electrical or Mechanical engineering bachelor graduate.
Minimum 2 to 5 years in Service Experience
Have good practical ability and careful attitude to work, willing to study technology, with good teamwork and communication skills.
Experience and skilled in using Microsoft Office application – Word/Excel/ PPT
Able to travel to site for service jobs

Manufacturing Engineer – United States
Job Description:
Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support the safety, delivery, delivery, cost (SQDC) priorities.
Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
Understand key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.

Application Engineer – Europe
Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, implement and document Control and Protection Simulink modules
• Update/create requirement and design specifications
• Review and identify needed implementation on module by module bases
• Update/create Simulink unit test scenarios and run testing
• Update/create documentation and reports to match implementation
• Intermediate reviews with technical leaders at each step of the update process (initial review -> proposed implementation plan -> updated model and test harness -> final approval of test results and documentation)

Process Engineer – Singapore
Job Description:
