Operational Technology & Cyber Security Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an OT Cybersecurity Engineer, your role will focus on securing, supporting, configuring, and regularly updating our Process Control Systems. Your responsibilities will extend to configuring and managing network security measures to protect the process control layer from internal & external threats. Collaboration with diverse teams will be crucial to uphold the reliability, security, and efficiency of our OT systems.

The ideal candidate will possess specialized skills in OT network design, cybersecurity practices, and effective troubleshooting techniques.

Plan and organize work within OT domain while ensuring the interfaces are clearly defined and documented.

Ensure that all equipment, systems, and applications in the OT environment are registered & maintained.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of OT network configurations, protocols, and security measures.

Develop, maintain, and execute any site-specific procedures required to maintain OT security compliance by having an overview of our security measures.

Design, implement, and maintain robust OT network architectures to support sites, creating or modifying component information in the database as required.

Perform regular site visits to production facilities for remediation activities and to assure controls and procedures are in place. Also, identify new vulnerabilities and implement necessary measures.

Ensure Disaster Recovery Plans, systems are sustained through changes and tested appropriately.

Monitor and configure IDS/IPS & any other security systems/applications to meet cyber security & operational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

An ability to work autonomously, cooperatively, and remotely from the corporate office with other locations.

Good presentation, training, and communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong problem solving & time management skills.

Effective technical writing skills in English

Proficiency in Spanish would be a plus.

Cybersecurity industry certification such as Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)

Other Relevant IT / OT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Specialist)

Degree in Cyber (IT/OT) Security / Electronics / Electrical / Information Technology /Computer science Engineering, or demonstrable & relevant work experience.

Relevant Offshore Travel Certifications e.g., BOSIET, HUET, CA-EBS, MIST

Operations Project Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow the Petrofac Project Management Process in the management and discharge of Project activities.

Demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to the Petrofac values, including excellent HSSE and quality performance.

Maintain active development and involvement as a member of Petrofac’s Project Management Academy and Centre of Excellence.

Accountable for competently performing assigned project tasks without supervision.

Work as a member of the client asset management team.

Responsible for maintaining progress against agreed cost and schedule.

Able to analyze, diagnose and use project management tools and professional judgement to resolve discreet problems at a project level.

Appraise the relevant project management focal point of the performance of the project element.

Work to the project interface document to maintain the alignment of client and Petrofac processes during the project lifecycle.

Maintain communication with Asset, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning leads where necessary within the project element.

Support the risk management process during the project.

Support the management of change process during the project.

Work to the Project Execution Plan, ensuring compliance and assurance of delivery against the PEP objectives.

The Project Engineer is accountable for solving short term production issues, delivering trouble shooting support from all Functions to the Operation teams. He/she is the off- and onshore focal point for daily troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Working toward a project management qualification (preferred).

Working toward membership of a relevant institute (preferred).

Knowledge of project management processes.

Exposure to on and offshore operations

Provide support to the project team and suggest improvements where applicable within the project.

Strong communicator able to state key project goals and objectives and present them clearly to the project team and stakeholders.

Able to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate successfully with relevant contacts to influence positive decisions and working methods.

Ability to support and partake in risk management practices.

Will have broad project management knowledge and the ability to apply it

Valve Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand current maintenance planning and demand management for the NS regional assets.
Managing the valve request system (VRS) and workflow to support the operational demands of the assets.
Chair bi-weekly work progress meetings with the assets and BP’s valve management contractor.
Rationalization and approval of equipment repairs and disposals for the region.
Act as a focal point for assigned BP assets for valve-related equipment issues in the field.
Conducting PSV RBI review and approval.
Support Contract Accountable Manager (CAM) and improve contract management for the provision of valve management services.
Instigation, support, and approval of valve-related eMoC, EQ, and IRIS actions.
Providing break-in TAR support as and when required.
Identify and realize efficiency improvement opportunities
Provide functional input in the region to support the BP Central Material Master Improvement Program, BoMs, stocking strategy, price book, critical sparing strategy, preservation plan, and inventory.

Qualifications:

High education in technical discipline / relevant field, e.g. modern mechanical apprenticeship, national qualification, degree, etc.
preferred degree with extensive experience resolving technical issues associated with Isolation Valves used Onshore and Offshore in the Oil and Gas Industry
Good experience in using various office and technical computerised applications
Familiarity with international standards (API, ASME, etc) applicable to valves and their service requirements
Familiarity with valve-related technical specifications
Be customer-focused, both internal and external
Enthusiastic and driven to seek excellence and improvements on the different projects, they were engaged
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Be capable of group communication to direct and coordinate the maintenance of the entire facility.
