Operations Landscape Management Business Analyst (Support Analyst)

Job Description
The Operations Landscape Management (OLM) Business Analyst is a key role in Shell, based in Brisbane. You will be responsible for delivering smooth operations of applications and their related back-end technology. You will drive reduction in incident volume and provide speedy and quality problem resolution.




Shell uses Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) software for the lifecycle of the Trading process, from making the trade deal, to scheduling the commodity for delivery, to actuating settlement and capturing the transaction in accounting.
The OLM Business Analyst will work with multiple stakeholders and service providers to deliver IT solutions and support to meet the business needs. You are accountable for end-to-end application operations delivery with technical and functional skills where the size and scale of the application landscape requires a specialist to assist in the application support delivery for their landscapes for all incident, problem, and change related activities.




Requirements
The candidate we are therefore seeking for this position, will have/be;
Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Information Technology or similar certification.
Demonstrated experience in application development, service management operations, and project management.
Demonstrated experience in applications support and IT services management. (ITIL)
Experience in SQL, .Net, or JAVA development is advantageous.




This position manages overall delivery, outages, for landscapes thereby ensuring availability, reliability, and overall supportability on a 7×24, 365-day basis with team members across the globe applying the follow-the-sun model
Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work collaboratively and lead effectively across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations, and ability to work autonomously.
