Job Description:
1.This role requires study of micro-structure and identification of phases, hardness testing, interpretation of tensile testing and calculation of important parameters from tensile curve.
2.The candidate is expected to carry-out heat-treatment experiments both at laboratory and pilot scale.
3.Experience in using optical microscope and scanning electron microscope
4.Data analysis, data plotting using different tools such as excel, origin, etc.
5.Basic knowledge of metallography, sample preparation, image processing

Job Description:
A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Team Member to join the Engineering team based at the 20” Pipe Mill, Hartlepool.
We are looking for someone to provide first line expertise to our manufacturing areas as part of a small, multi-disciplined engineering team.
Reporting to the shift engineer, you’ll:
Assist the engineering team in carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance
Continuously maintain Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensure safe working procedures are followed
Provide first line technical expertise and knowledge to identify and rectify faults to minimise plant downtime
Suggesting and implementing improvements to process control systems through collaboratively working with relevant peers
Possess a high quality of work, ensuring any deficiencies found are repaired expediently and are robust enough to prevent recurrence

You’ll have completed an electrical apprenticeship, or possess a recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar).
