Warehouse Operative
Job Description:
- Warehouse Personnel are responsible for their own safety and the safe operation of their area and team. They work in all Warehousing area’s supporting all aspects of Warehousing duties.
- Warehouse Personnel ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with local and works SOP’s in order to provide a safe working environment.
The Candidate:
The jobholder should have knowledge of the works process units / warehouse operations and their products. Knowledge of the works computer system (SAP) coupled with basic IT skills is also required.
The jobholder will be able to demonstrate good team working skills and abilities. They should have problem solving skills and decision-making capability. The individual will also possess strong communication skills.
The jobholder should be a self-starter and demonstrate a proactive attitude to work and a willingness to learn. The jobholder should also possess a drive to achieve the objectives / targets of the department.
