Google Service Administrator (System Support Area)

Location: EUROPE / Remote

Job Description

This role is part of the cloud collaboration services team within the firm’s global IT organization. Individuals in this role are responsible for operating and administering specific services in support of the firm’s enterprise architecture vision and applicable technical standards. Implementation support for new PwC entities and Google services is also a responsibility of this role, in alignment with the consistent delivery of collaboration services across all member firms.

Job responsibility

Working in complex technical environments with IT Service management operations procedures.

Troubleshooting issues and identifying territory or global specific issues.

Deploying or managing Google Workspace installations.

Operating global SaaS services.

Developing and maintaining a current understanding of the technical architecture and designs associated with the cloud collaboration services delivered, and all relevant enabling technologies.

Providing thought leadership on the administration of the specific technologies and services needed to deliver the identified services.

Qualification:

At least Bachelor, or Engineering degree in Technology, or related field.

Abilities and/or a proven record of success in working with the specific infrastructure and application technologies such as Google Workspace services, Microsoft services, Lotus Notes etc.

Working experience with Service Now or similar ITSM system.

Ability to reasonably estimate the time for tasks and then meet deadlines set by those estimates and ability to quickly and effectively prioritize multiple requests.

Understanding of the user provisioning models and approaches, related tools and directory services: Google Workspace directory, Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP directory technologies, directory synchronization services and Mail routing concepts/SMTP.

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; desire to interact with and help end users.

Fluent English is required.
