Job Description:

Support process by managing transactions as per required quality standards.

Fielding all incoming help requests from clients via telephoneand/or emails in a
courteous manner

Document all pertinent end user identification information,including name, department,
contact information and nature of problem orissue

Update own availability in the RAVE system to ensureproductivity of the process

Record, track, and document all queries received, problem-solving steps taken and total

Desktop Support Engineer

To Manage the End-to-End Infrastructure Support Projects (desktop/laptop/network) for single and multi-Location customer.

Troubleshooting desktop / laptop OS issues and support for standard software issues
Isolate system issues, diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective Vendors.
Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies of customer
Installation / re-installation / configuration of in-scope client software / applications
Troubleshooting issues related to standard office software’s (MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.) and Internet client
Relocation of Computers & Peripherals as required by users. Logistic to be provided by JWC
Configuration and fine‐tuning of existing applications on computers such as internet browsers and office automation application settings
Coordination with 3rd parties and other units for resolution in incidents and problems
Continually monitor environment to ensure best practices and set guidelines are being followed.
Support for local area network issues (LAN), DHCP client
Installation / re-installation / configuration of systems, printers, scanners
Install antivirus software and check virus definition auto updates
Install approved patches onto desktops / laptops
Configure Print Queues for Servers / Users / Groups
Troubleshoot print queue related issues
Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers

Qualification:

Graduate/Diploma holder with ITIL certification with IT hands-on Knowledge

• Underwrite new business applications against an established set criteria for Consumer finance applications
• Assess all new applications in line with Retail Lending Standards and Policy
• Work in conjunction with our sales teams to identify and resolve any challenges in relation to decisions and appeals
• Be responsible for dealing with the more complex enquiries from both staff and external sources to provide an informed response which results in a TCF outcome for those concerned.

• Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge and understanding of MotoNovo Finance products and services, providing accurate information and proactively promoting them where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively and assist and support with the Training and Competence of new underwriters ensuring this is appropriately and suitably evidenced, both initially throughout the induction process, and subsequently on an ongoing basis at all mandate levels.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and legislative information related to MotoNovo Finance products and services (e.g. ICOB, CONC, FCA Rules, Money Laundering, Data Protection, CDD, KYC etc.)
• Maintain an excellent knowledge and understanding of all relevant policies and procedures relevant to the role, being compliant with these policies and procedures at all times.

Required Experience: 2-4 Years of overall experience, 1 year of Mortgage UW experience

Must have: Worked in a UK Mortgage process

Good to have: UK Underwriting experience/ US mortgage underwriting / loan processor

• Good understanding of the UK mortgage market with experience of handling mortgage applications

• Experience in the validation of customer data and documentation with history of correctly

Your role after joining:

Identifying the trend of calls / tickets and highlighting it to L2 / TL as applicable for outage confirmation
Creating child tickets and tagging them with problem ticket. Callback the user and confirm resolution (wherever applicable)
