Job Responsibilities:
• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Collaborate with India, US, and Vendors’ teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Develop, support, and maintain applications and technology solutions.
• Ensure that all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, and time and adhere to all defined and agreed upon standards.
• Become familiar with all development tools, testing tools, methodologies, and processes.
• Become familiar with the project management methodology and processes.
• Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with India, US and Vendor teams.
• Demonstrate a strong working understanding of the industry best standards in software development and version controlling.
• Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
• Work on agile projects, participate in daily SCRUM calls and provide task updates.
Qualifications:
• Full time Masters/Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent from reputed University
• At least 6-9 years of relevant technical experience with application development and .Net programming.
• Excellent SQL programming skills
• Should have strong understanding of both the (SQL database) back-end as well as the front-end application development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Skill for writing reusable libraries.
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Skills required:
• 6+ years strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS/LESS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Ajax
• Experience with Angular 9+ and migrating to newer versions.
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience working with and scaling relational databases
• Experience with data modeling, database design, querying, performance tuning etc.
• Experience in writing T-SQL queries using Subqueries, Joins, Windows functions (i.e. Ranking, aggregate etc.), Set Operators, CTE, Temp Table, Derived Tables, Dynamic SQL, Pivot, Unpivot and XML.
• Experience in SQL Error Handling, Transactions and optimization of complex SQL queries.
• Experience in troubleshooting common database issues (deadlocks, blocks, indexes, expensive queries and performance counters using DMV).
• Strong experience in Web Application Development and maintenance
• .Net Framework 4.0 or higher
• .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, ADO.NET, Entity framework
• Experience with Web Services, RESTful API/Web API’s, microservices, and windows services
• SOLID Principles
Preferred/Plus:
• Knowledge on following technologies: SignalR(WebSockets), Grunt, Knockout, Durandal, AMCharts, SSRS, MongoDB
• OAUTH and/or other authentication protocols
• Experience with Source Control Systems preferably GIT, CI/CD tools preferably Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of enterprise application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience working in Financial Services environment.
