Job Description:
Financial Analyst/Accountant – Provide financial and business analysis support. Prepare journal entries for Month-end close. Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. Maintain Internal Control Documentation (Sarbanes-Oxley). Lead, as well as participate, in process improvement efforts (Six Sigma). Financial Liaison for Non-Finance Leaders, providing reporting and analysis support
Financial Analyst – Finance Development Program – Assignments will include experience in several of the following areas: accounting close, reporting, forecasting, capital analysis, fixed assets, product cost, inventory, budgeting, payables, credit and collections, intercompany transactions, internal controls review and testing, Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, internal audits, process improvements, and problem resolution
Degree Programs Considered: Bachelor’s, Master’s
Major Programs Typically Considered: Finance, Accounting, Economics or Management Information Systems
Cummins Full Time Requirements:
College, university or equivalent technical experience required
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
0-2 years in a position/internship relating to your field of study preferred
