Solution Delivery Analyst – Ignite
Job Description:
You will be based in our Gurgaon, India office as a member of our Ignite team, a part of McKinsey’s Digital & Analytics practice
You will be responsible for delivering Ignite diagnostics and bottom-up IT project planning for transformations, contributing to product development and improvements, and knowledge creation initiatives.
You will work on analyses of digital and analytics maturity and drive/support the IT benchmarking as well as project sizing, cost/FTE estimation and sequencing in one or multiple verticals as part of broader McKinsey engagements.
You will coordinate data gathering as well as analyze and develop end deliverables.
Qualification:
Fresher in master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, information systems, mathematics/statistics or related discipline
1-3 years of prior experience in the field of IT consulting, digital, analytics and/or business intelligence
Experience working with large databases, data visualization tools and statistics
Strong knowledge of IT, digital and analytics areas in a consulting setup
Good operational knowledge of MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) technical features and developer tools as well as VBA automation, etc.
Working knowledge of any of the following is a plus: Python, R, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Confirmit integration, Qualtrics, NoSQL databases
Technical programming (coding/development) and logical ability in the field of application development and data analysis is a plus
Experience in portfolio management and project management is preferred
Superior conceptual problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills with a critical eye to validate data quality, identify issues and take corrective measures
Strong entrepreneurial mindset; interested in a “start-up” environment and excited about coding and data analysis
Willingness to work in an ambiguous and highly demanding and results-oriented environment
Ability to establish him/herself as a trusted and indispensable advisor to consulting teams and clients
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
