2023 Fall Recruiting Season Wafer Level Package Research Engineer Intern
The Components Research (CR) team is looking for a passionate intern to join our team as a research engineer intern supporting 3D integrated circuit simulation and design using different 3D packaging techniques such as solder microbumps or hybrid bonding for memory and logic stacking.

Qualifications:
Active Ph.D. candidacy in one of the following areas of study: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Architecture and Design
2+ years research experience relevant to one or more of the following areas: digita, circuit analysis and design, VLSI physical layout, electronic design automation, multi-physics modeling of electronic materials or systems.
Familiarity with IC design and physical layout tools such Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsis Fusion Compiler.
Experience in DC/low frequency electrical measurements and device characterization
Preferred :
IC design, simulation, physical layout and tapeout experience.
Familiar with DRAM and SRAM circuit design and layout
Familiar with integrated circuits manufacturing flow and requirements
Familiar with different 2.5D and 3D packaging technologies
3DIC design and simulation experience
Good programming skills, preferably in Python.

Graduate Internship SoC Design Engineer for CAD Physical Verification
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic students for Summer/Fall 2024.
Job Responsibilities :
Testing and/or developing flows using Engineering Design Automation (EDA) tools including 1 or more areas of Design Synthesis, Auto Place and Route, Static Timing Analysis (STA), Formal-Equivalence Checking, Electrical Rule Checks (ERC), Static Noise analysis, Active/Dynamic/Leakage Power Analysis, LVS, Power-Rail Integrity, Extraction, ECO, or SPICE circuit simulation
Interfacing with Design Team to create or test flows/scripts to analyze design methodologies for cell-based and/or transistor-based designsValidating PDK technology, library files and other collaterals used for either standard cell or custom-transistor design, layout, and signoff with EDA CAD tools.
Creating flows/scripts to analyze, test and improve design methodologies, including through Machine Learning, and look for inefficiencies.
Documenting and helping with guidelines/specs.

Qualifications:

Physical Design and Verification Tools, Flows and Methods used in VLSI back-end standard cell and/or custom-transistor based designs.
Coursework completed or enrolled in VLSI design, Digital and/or Analog Integrated Circuits; Advanced Programming Techniques and/or Advanced Data Structures
Using industry standard Engineering Design Automation (EDA) VLSI tools from 1 or more of Synopsys, Cadence and/or Mentor Graphics in one of more of the following areas of: Synthesis, Auto Place and Route, STA, Power, ECO, SPICE circuit simulation, statistical variation analysis, noise, cross-talk, OCV and/or ERC flows
Linux environments and basic shell scripting
Programming in 1 or more scripting languages such as Python, Perl and/or Tcl
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in 1 or more of the following:
Prior Internship or fulltime experience in hardware design
Backend design EDA tools Synopsys, Cadence and/or Mentor Graphics
EDA Spice Circuit Simulators such as Spectre, HSPICE or FineSim
Knowledge in standard-cell liberty format syntax or digital circuit device-level SPICE modelling
Standard formats from 1 or more of gate-level netlist, standard parasitic formats and/or SDC constraints

Advanced programming data structures

Software Application Development Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end-users or integrated with other applications by ISVs.
Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.
Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications.
Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
This will be an entry level position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any other related field
1+ years of experience in:
Programming, with strong proficiency in React. NET core, RDBMS, No, SQL or equivalent technologies
Advanced English level
Preferred :
Experience in one or more of the following:

Security Researcher
Securing design, development and operation of Intel’s hardware and software products and services.

NM Shift Manufacturing Operations Manager – Entry Level
Job Responsibilities :
Responsible for overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment.
Responsible for the appropriate training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management of the Manufacturing Technicians in a manner which enables NMDM to meet critical goals.
Establish a strong and collaborative relationship with other Shift Group Leaders, Module (Engineering) Group and Area support teams.
Drive operational expertise and excellence across all modules/shifts of the organization with strict adherence to Factory/Department standards.
Assign personnel to maintenance tasks and monitors the progress of work in process.
Establish and ensure maintenance policies and procedures are followed.
Set priorities for the team, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
Assesses personnel staffing and maintenance plans to accommodate production schedules with minimal impact.
Use business acumen and judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.

Qualifications:
Must meet one of the below qualifications
Bachelor Degree or Higher
Or
United States military service member as a Non-Commissioned Officer or Commissioned Officer with 2+ years direct management experience including assessing performance and writing performance evaluations.
Or
12+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in demonstrated leadership roles.
