Systems Administrator – Australia
Job Description:
Proactively drive the prioritization and resource planning of Digital Technology work to support business objectives and key initiatives.
Partner with business & regional leaders to understand and ensure SLAs are met.
Work closely with multiple application teams to communicate status, establish appropriate automation and monitoring capabilities as well as disaster recovery and failover capabilities.
Keep abreast of new tools and technologies while taking part in the evaluation and recommendations for new or enhanced capabilities that could improve current platforms.
Develop technical standards, documentation and knowledge transfer for operational support including the coordination of knowledge transfer to other team members.
Complete root cause analysis of defects and implement controls to mitigate repetitive issues.
Understands, promotes and adheres to security and SoX compliance policies and process.
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
Onsite interaction with the stakeholders, 5 days a week
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in related field or proven experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Basic knowledge of financial systems, financial close cycles and associated processes
Strong Microsoft Office skillset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of ITIL processes (certification is a plus)
Basic understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (SoX)

Network Operations Engineer – United States
Job Responsibilities:
Quickly respond and resolve critical service outages.
Assist in establishment of performance baseline, capacity thresholds, correlate events, and define monitoring/alerting criteria.
Develop automated solutions to address potential problems before they result in a service interruption.
Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues across WAN and LAN environments.
Execute WAN/LAN patching tasks, including cable management and configuration updates.
Implement device hardening techniques to enhance network security and ensure compliance with best practices.
Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco SDWAN, Cisco LAN, and Cisco WiFi technologies.
Monitor network performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent military / work experience
Eligibility Requirement:

Desired Characteristics:
CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge and expertise.
Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
Familiarity with Cisco SDWAN, Cisco LAN, and Cisco WiFi technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
