Atlas Graduate Program: SW QA Engineer (2025) – US
This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.
Assists more senior engineers in conducting feasibility and functional requirements studies for the automation of test routines and software programs. Develop test programs based on R&D released test and verification diagnostics. Plans, documents and implements product tests and verifications. Performs test engineering services for the diagnosis of software and/or emulation hardware functional failures to identify root cause of failure and actions for repair. Assist with updating development of SW programming for products based on testing. Ensures the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Works under close Supervision. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.
Preferred Knowledge:
• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating system environments required.
• Good working knowledge and experience with IC physical design, layout, and verification tools; and IC manufacturing process flows.
• Knowledge of shell scripting and interpreted software languages (preferred Python) are required skills required to be effective in this job.

Digital service platform professional – Apprenticeship
As Digital Service Platform Professional you’ll be managing technical and process challenges regarding Building X. Building X (link https://xcelerator.siemens.com/global/en/products/buildings/building-x.html) is a platform that runs the applications that help you manage building operation. It provides a central foundation of secure, real-time data that supports a wide range of use cases.
Supporting Building X technical and process flow issues
Coordinating local rollouts of new products / service
Localizing technical documentation
Collecting market requirements
Constantly observing relevant competitors’ product(s), solution(s) and/or service(s).
Driving local standardizations
Potentially acting as technical support internal/external during the service/system range lifetime, accompanied by your tutor.
Qualifications:
You have less than 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract
You are fresh graduate in Engineering, or you have a technical background (Diploma or ITS)
Previous technical or commercial experience as an intern is a plus
Openness to think about product value selling (Negotiating and closing deals by emphasizing the value for the customers)

Associate Applications Engineer IC (w/m/d) – Graduate Program
As an Associate Application Engineer m/f/d, you will be involved in a structured Associate Application Engineer Training Program. This is a fast-track paid training program that challenges you to develop the expertise needed to tackle difficult technical problems.
Associate Application Engineers are members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customers crafting the most sophisticated hardware and software systems in the world and whose applications span the electronics industry. This training program will give you outstanding insight into our technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations. Upon successful completion of this 12-month training program, you will be eligible to advance into one of these organizations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with semiconductor emphasis.
Good English level
Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Must have some experience in these specific areas: UNIX, Linux, Sun Solaris.
Course work and project experience in VLSI design.
Some travel may be required.
Preferred:
· Any first experience in the area IC design, analog or digital: Simulation, Place and Route/ Full Custom, Functional and Physical verification, Design for Test.
· Languages – Verilog (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), VHDL (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), TCL, Perl, C/C+
