Posted by Xerox is looking for a highly motivated, skilled, and adaptable data analyst to join our Workplace Solutions Engineering Group in our Webster, NY campus. Work as part of a cross functional team and to be responsible for all aspects of the analytics process including gathering requirements, designing data base constructs that leveraging existing infrastructure, parsing/populating data, developing views of the data in Tableau, presenting them in management forums and documenting implementations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with others to define and document requirements for analysis.
Design and implement and document new database/constructs that leverage existing patterns/design to support new requirements.
Maintain existing analytics reports including fixing errors, updating infrastructure, etc.
Develop descriptive (feature usage, machine configuration, etc), diagnostic (cause/effect, relationships), and/or predictive (likely field service calls) views of the data in Tableau.
Identify patterns, trends, significant messages/actions from those views. Ability to perform statistical analysis would be very helpful here.
Present finding/analysis in management forums.
Create end user documentation.
Assist end users in further analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in Python, Tableau and Excel; solid analytical and problem-solving skills; experience using Microsoft office, and database design; knowledge of statistics; good communication skills.
EDUCATION :
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics or related major with expected completion dates between Spring 2021 and Spring 2022.
