Graduate Automation Engineer Apprenticeship Program – Europe

We offer you a unique opportunity to be part of our RME team where you can put into practice all the knowledge you have acquired with your studies and continue learning as part of a team of first-class professionals. In addition, during your journey you will continue learning within a training itinerary for the development of technical skills and competences. In addition to solving technical problems, you will learn planning, prioritization, develop analytical and communication skills, and teamwork.

We enable you to develop and apply solid technical as well as interpersonal and communication skills. Throughout the program, a mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) will support you to successfully advance in all these areas. On top of the on the job learning with the AE Team you will follow more of 300 hours of theoretical and practical trainings, with external providers, on several subjects such as: electric and electronic (e.g. EPLAN, panel wiring and assembly), automation and robotics (e.g. PLC programming, Python and SQL basics), project management and communication. At the end of the program, you will be fully trained to be eligible for an Automation Engineer position in our maintenance teams.

During the apprenticeship program, you will work with the AE Team on site, that is responsible for All controls systems and sensors within the building:
• Work in a hands-on manner to actively monitor, fault find and repair systems in order to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers.
• Train technicians on the basics of control systems fault finding in order to raise the level of knowledge within the site.
• Work within the EU Controls network to enhance the capability to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers by means of troubleshooting and prioritizing.
• Actively participate or own continuous improvement projects coordinated by the EU Controls network.
• Work with IT, EU Controls Engineering and Operations Engineering to ensure all systems are correctly documented and that accurate backup library are maintained.

Shift Pattern: This role includes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which might include nights and weekends. This job opportunity does not include remote-working options, the positions will be available in the following regions: Piedmont, Lombardy and Veneto.

QUALIFICATIONS

You can access our apprenticeship program if:
• You are between 18 and 29 years old,
• You have a bachelor degree in Automation Engineering field, or you will achieve it before the start of the Program
• You speak Italian fluently and demonstrate good communication skills (written & verbal),
• You have the ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English at Level B2 or higher,
• You have the ability to understand and follow verbal or written technical instructions,
• You are passionate about Automation and Engineering and would like to start a career in this area,
• You are motivated and have practical approach,
• You want to acquire a commitment to learn, develop and get involved,
• You have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel),
• You are a proactive person and open to acquiring new knowledge and skills,
• You like to work in a team and easily build relationships with others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in electrical engineering or related fields
• Project management experience
• Software developer experience

Associate, Quality Services, Device TechSuprt-Tablet

L2 Device Associate (DA) – Quality Services (IC role), test small components and features related to an Amazon device, application, or service. DA- Candidate shall follow SOPs and execute tasks assigned to them on a daily basis. DAs acquire knowledge from peers, on-the-job training, and via Device and Quality team-provided content (e.g., SharePoint, Wiki, etc.). DAs use required tools and follow relevant practices that facilitate smoother operations and eliminate process dependencies. DAs perform predefined test cases without compromising the quality they test for. DAs raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms.

Job Responsibilities

• To follow SOPs and execute tasks assigned on a daily basis.
• Execute test plans & test cases, and reporting results in a timely, clear, and concise manner.
• Meets daily productivity & quality targets. Able to execute tasks on a daily basis with highest standard of quality w.r.t deliverables.
• Should have the ability to backtrack and do a root cause analysis of bugs/issues.
• Contributes to project improvement ideas to simplify the daily routine when applicable.
• To acquire knowledge from peers, on-the-job training, and via device and quality team – provided content (e.g., SharePoint, Wiki, etc.).
• Able to learn manual device & application test procedures & how to use applicable software & tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree – A graduate in BE, BTech, Master of computer Applications (MCA), MSc Information Technology (IT) or equivalent graduate with 0-1 year of experience in software testing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Basic knowledge in software testing, test methodologies and manual testing practices.
