Operations Management Intern – Canada

Operations Management Internship
As an Operations Management Intern, you will gain exposure to the workflow of plant and/or distribution operations. You will be given a project to improve a facet of the current operation, have the opportunity to use the skills you have gained in the classroom to a real life setting, and have the ability to tackle additional projects that interest you. Additionally, Interns will be exposed to a number of areas to learn skills and gain knowledge vital to succeed in an operations leadership role, including but not limited to:

Operations
Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership
Engineering/Maintenance
Accounting
Continuous Improvement
Human Resources/Talent Management/Employee Relations
And much more based on your areas of interest!

Internship Programming
Cargill offers both housing assistance and relocation reimbursement to co-ops who qualify (based on mileage)

Internships are paid and are at least 16 weeks in duration.

Day–to-day transportation to and from work is the responsibility of the intern.

Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered a full-time position for the following year.

Required Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in any field and graduating between December 2022and May 2025.
Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and weekends should the occasional need arise
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Able to work with individuals from a diverse group of backgrounds and cultures
Able to complete a 16-week internship May – August 2022
Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance

Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing an agriculture or business-related degree; Animal Science, Ag-Economics, Ag-Business, Ag-Education, Agronomy, Food Science, Feed Science, Meat Science, Grain Science, Operations Management, Ag-Systems Management, Ag-Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanized Systems Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution).
