Software Engineer – New Grad | The Graduate Program – Canada
Job Description:
You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
Analyze failures and provide fast and accurate solutions.
You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
Support production on week evenings / weekends on rotation with other team members
You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, supportable and demo the software products to stakeholders
Qualification:
BS, BTech OR BE in a technical field. Must be a recent or upcoming college Graduate.
Technical knowledge and/or experience with C programming, Java, Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting and SQL.
Logical and creative problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Displays Confidence and Curiosity
0-2 years of technical experience through internships, real-world and/or school coursework
Java programming language and spring framework.
Knowledge of Cloud and micro services
