Production Control Coordinator
Job Description:
The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for issuing, scheduling, and managing the production schedule for high-volume, fastener-manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for assisting in the accurate inventory posting of goods to the site ERP system.
Create production schedules based on MRP review
Generate collation jobs from loose product
Process re-label jobs
Monitor overall schedule for required changes due to shift in customer demand
Communicate necessary scheduling information to appropriate department personnel
Ensure schedule adherence and follow-up with all relevant team members
Enter rivet stock code manufacturing BOM and routing
Maintain stock code manufacturing/distribution fields in ERP system
BOM adjustments / confirmation
Communicate with internal staff and external contacts to meet Rivet Operations needs
Work with QA personnel on material quality issues
Support customer shipments through system support and records maintenance
Monitor supplier material deliveries
Inventory management
Facilitate weekly raw material inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
Inventory record monitoring and maintenance
Resolve finish good discrepancies
Process required job closure transactions
Process inventory adjustments
Process purchase order receipts for UK product company shipments
Monthly reporting
Metrics related to production control
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of ERP, MRP and other database software packages
Computer skills to include Windows, and Microsoft office applications
Punctual / Positive attitude / Team player
Self-starter requiring limited supervision
College degree preferred or 4+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
