Payment Specialist
Job Description:
• Identifying and recruiting new customers, leading commercial negotiations and exchanging legal contracts with companies within the SME market.
• Actively selling the full range of Barclaycard Business solutions, where appropriate.
• Sell (singular or propositions) in a quality way ensuring all key processes are followed
• Relationship management will be key to the role to ensure you build ongoing relationships with external customers
• Responsible for developing a personal sales plan to achieve targeted objectives and goals within a designated territory.
• Develop and ‘handoff’ leads to other members of the New Business team as required by set criteria.
• Own/Direct/Produce and deliver new business quotations/proposals and presentation material.
• Build close working relationships with allocated Barclays Local Business team contacts and other Group/external key business influencers to create New Business opportunities.
• Full and extensive knowledge of the full range of BPA solutions.
• Understanding of the importance of Relationship management
• Can deliver a quality experience to both the external customer market and satisfy internal measures/processes
• Understanding of working within an Income based operating model
• Working knowledge of Payment Acceptance solutions, their drivers, industry dynamics, interchange, competitor solutions and future product service deliverables.
• An up to date knowledge of Industry related technical development
