Graduate Engineer Trainee (International Assignment)
Job Description:
Preparing, interpreting calculations, specifications and plans
Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria to assigned tasks and deliverables
Coordinating with Design Engineering on constructability issues
Participating in reviews on Technical Submittals, Technical Queries and Field Change Documents
Assisting in preparing technical reports
Assisting in evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors and preparing recommendations
Monitoring site survey, construction activities and preparing Daily Activity Report
Assisting in hold point inspection for structures, system or equipment
Assisting in QA/Construction in preparation/reviewing of QA tools and Construction tools
Issuing QAN/non-conformance quality reports when defective items are identified
Assisting in preparation of forecast, quantity take-offs, change order and scheduling
Assisting in ES&H department in preparation/reviewing of ES&H tools
Essential Technical:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university
Essential Behavioral:
Willingness to complete rotational assignments for first two years of employment in Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, and Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H).
Preferred Technical:
Basic knowledge of engineering design theory, systems, calculations, and application of engineering methods
Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials
Prior work experience through part time work or previous internships in Engineering or Construction industry
Skilled in oral and written communication
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Behavioral:
Able to work effectively as a member of a team
Willing to receive feedback and able to improve performance based on feedback
Pays attention to details in work and maintains high level of accuracy
