Tier 1 Customer Support – USA

Job Description:

The help desk team member interacts with users to resolve problems, questions or requests through phone or email. The help desk agent may also interact with customers to resolve billing related inquiries as part of an Information Technology application outsourcing service delivery team. The agent builds and demonstrates a working knowledge of the supported application system, its associated financial system interfaces, and the customer registration system. This agent responds to user requests and issues and resolves them courteously, quickly and correctly. This team member also interacts with other members of the help desk team and escalates issues, as needed.

Job Responsibilities :

Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email
Track all customer interactions accurately and in a timely manner
Meet metrics, as defined by the team
Collaborating with team members to resolve customer issues
Provides timely and accurate status for the assigned work

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in MS Office
Minimum 2 years of experience working with strong attention to detail
Minimum 2 years of experience in proven ability to meet deadlines
High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

Creating and maintaining process documentation.

PowerShell and batch scripting.

Qualification:

Expert knowledge of Microsoft SCCM.

Working knowledge and understanding of ITIL best practice.

Thorough understanding of Active Directory, including replication and GPO.

Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems patching, and software such as Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Advanced knowledge of registry, permissions, and drivers and software required.
