Entry Level at Google Careers

Program Manager, Data Center Maintenance Planning – UK, Europe 

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for the effective execution of all planning and scheduling of maintenance work and control processes. You will work with the site supervisors and technicians to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and material, define trades and skills and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient work control plan.

Manage the flow of all maintenance work orders by working with Data Center Operations teams and vendors. Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of technicians and parts needed to perform maintenance activities.
Collaborate with facility management in the development and maintenance of schedules and resource leveling by utilizing the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program.
Establish and maintain CMMS equipment files, parts inventory, equipment bill of materials, and preventative maintenance schedules.
Manage the process of launching a CMMS solution at the site level used in the daily operation of our data centers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Candidates will typically have 1 year of experience in program management.
Typically 1 year of experience working as a maintenance planner or scheduler for mission critical facilities.

Preferred:
Experience with third-party CMMS programs (e.g., Maximo).
Experience in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, HVAC, and electrical.
Ability to develop long-term strategic maintenance plans and forecasts.
Ability to communicate with internal customers, external parties, and address any issues.
Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Camera Autofocus Image Tuning Engineer (English)- Taiwan

Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate the architectural autofocus relative design and algorithms for digital photography, computer vision or machine intelligence scenarios, and commercialize Google products and features.
Tune the Autofocus algorithm, support Pixel phones and continue to raise the bar of quality and innovations with Pixel cameras.
Understand and work with other stakeholders to improve Autofocus algorithms.
Engage with different sensor, module and key component vendors and incorporate the new technology into Google products.
Work with System on a Chip (SOC) Architecture and relative algorithm team to understand and improve the architecture and use cases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in image processing, image quality evaluation, or camera tuning.
Experience coding in C/C++.
Ability to communicate in English fluently.

Preferred:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Experience in developing integration of new autofocus (AF) hardware components in consumer products, autofocus algorithms, tuning, and optimization.
Experience in sensor characteristics, optics, and image signal processing of the mobile imaging system, and their influence nuance to final image and video quality.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with research mentors to formulate research projects or applications of machine learning.
Conduct research and publish it.
Implement algorithms, experiments, or human-computer interfaces using frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow).
Learn and understand research in machine learning algorithms.
Understand how to use research to drive design decisions.

Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities:

Perform fraud and spam investigations using various data sources, identify product vulnerabilities, and drive anti-abuse solutions.
Work with engineers and interact cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders to improve workflows via process improvements, automation, and anti-abuse system creation.
Manage technological solutions for streamlining quality assurance and produce scalable training solutions to emergent workflows.
Apply statistical methods to data sets to understand the impact of abuse to the YouTube ecosystem. Contribute strategy and development of new workflows against additional known vectors of abuse.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience managing partnerships with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.
Experience with data analytics.

Preferred:

Experience in programming and use of analytical tools (e.g., Python, R, Jupyter notebooks) for data analysis, experiment design, and precision analysis for automation.
