Inventory Accounting Advisor
Responsibilities
Controls oversight for processes and systems used to acquire, store, assemble, and deploy Google’s TI equipment
Execute current compliance program (process documentation, deficiency reviews), and evaluation and coordination of potential control changes
Run processes according to risk assessment and control frameworks, and escalate when risks are detected
Work closely with key Logistics, Engineering, and Compliance business partners to advise on business decisions, SSA (streamline, scale or automate) initiatives, root cause analyses, etc.
Consult on system implementations as subject matter expert in inventory accounting
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
Professional qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with SOX compliance or internal control frameworks
Cost accounting or accounting experience in a relevant industry
Ability to navigate ambiguity in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with senior management
