We have a great opportunity for a Materials Management Analyst to join our Honeywell Building Technologies team in Lugoj! Expertise the implementation of material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions. You will engage in the execution and follow up with policies, procedures and material control systems. You will identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
Materials Management Analyst I – Fresh graduate
Job Description:
Acquires electronic components and other elements (connectors, capacitors, PCBs, resistors,labels) required in the production process, according to the requirements of the internal system.
Verify the correctness of the data in the material commands/orders (execute the MRP).
Analyze stocks of available materials and recommend material acquisition.
Maintain the connection with suppliers to collect information on available quantities, prices, terms and delivery modalities, etc.
Follow-up with Logistics department for shipment orders.
Contribute to solving crisis situations – lack of material
Assists and helps the Strategic Buyers to assess supplier performance
Communicate directly with the supervisor in crisis situations in order to ensure the necessary material to maintain the continuity of the process.
Participates in solving particular issues related to discrepancies between vendor bills and SAP system data.
Qualifications:
University degree – Fresh graduate
English language proficiency
Microsoft Office proficient
Knowledge of basic financial indicators.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision.
Good communication skills.
