We are looking for associate-level engineers to join our team. We have several opportunities available with teams in both Seal Beach – Customer Support and Long Beach – SoCal Global Design Center. We are looking for aerospace, and mechanical engineers to support Airframe, and Structures teams.
MULTI-DISCIPLINE ENGINEER (ENTRY-LEVEL) – California
Job Description:
• Performs structural analysis to determine structural integrity (margins of safety), using classical techniques and Boeing tools.
• Performs FEA analysis using Boeing tools
• Develops structural math models and performs analysis, using finite element methods, to develop internal loads and stresses.
• Creates strength check notes in support of document analysis.
• Assists in the development of in-house tools to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks.
• Resolving structural issues to help return airplanes into service.
• Developing and analyzing repairs to be published in the Structural Repair Manual or Service Bulletins.
• Perform detailed investigations and analyses to preclude safety issues.
• Performing damage tolerance evaluations and crack growth analyses to determine airplane inspection requirements.
Qualifications :
A completed Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
