Data Engineer
Job Description:
Bachelors’ /Masters’ degree from an accredited college/university in technology related field
1 – 4 years of IT experience with appetite for data management
Solid problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions
Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communications skills
Knowledge/Experience in all facets of software development life cycle like analysis, design, development, data conversion, data security, system integration and implementation
Coding knowledge/ability in the field of large data handling through SQL and NoSQL databases, data manipulation and ETL tools using Snaplogic
Knowledge/Experience in implementing effective and successful Cloud based Data Migration and Data Integration strategies across ERP Systems using industry standard IPAAS Tools
Knowledge/Experience of Data Architecture, Data Modeling and adopting best practices and policies in the Data Management space is a plus
Working knowledge in data centric projects with concentration on Data Quality is a plus
Understanding of data warehousing, data lake concepts and Tableau dashboards, visualizations, etc.
Knowledge/Experience in cloud architecture building real-time data pipelines and scaling data transformations will be an added advantage
Knowledge/Experience building and coding applications using Spark, Kafka, Storm, HDFS, Hbase, Hive, Sqoop etc. will be an added advantage
Knowledge/Experience in building design patterns to process and store high volume data sets, fast retrieval of data, and data analysis
You will work as a data engineer supporting the development and implementation of products.
You’ll conduct data assessment, perform data quality checks, transform and load raw data using SQL and ETL tools. Your work will contribute to the overall implementation of product solutions.
