Treasury Analyst – Europe
Job Description:
- Support strategic Treasury projects such as cash traceability/forecasting and analysis of Firm funding/liquidity usage
- Co-ordinate materials from numerous stakeholders into presentation decks for Firm Senior Management and external Regulators
- Assist with governance and non-market risk deliverables such as the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
- Produce global and legal entity level reporting/analytics for key governance forums (Asset and Liability Committees) and regulatory meetings (e.g. Federal Reserve Bank (US))
- Produce ad hoc deliverables and management reporting materials
- Transform raw data into meaningful metrics and charts to support decision making
- Support the global Treasury teams with the information and analysis they need
Qualification:
- A basic understanding of at least one of the following areas: firm management processes, expense management, cost allocations or financial regulatory reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- University degree (BSc or BA) preferably in business administration, finance, or related disciplines
- Post graduate qualification / studying towards: ACT, ACA or equivalent is an advantage

Associate – Data Integrity Group – Mumbai, India
Job Responsibilities:
- The Data Integrity Group continuously strives to keep the business division’s contact (individual), client (company) and employee coverage database correct and up-to-date.
- They assist with data maintenance, cleansing, mining, pooling and mapping efforts.
- Researching corporate actions and taking necessary steps to realign firm systems / reports after co-ordinating with sales / business divisions, IT teams and Operations
- Managing workflow tools, data integrity reports, CRM requests, user queries, etc

Analyst/Associate – Credit Risk Modeling (Risk Analytics) – Mumbai, India
Job Description:
Risk Analytics has an opening for an associate-level person to work on model development. The successful candidate will work extensively with credit risk models involving IRB approaches, CCAR and CECL.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, an excellent work ethic and a high degree of interest in both quantitative and non-quantitative aspects of financial risk management.
Quickly develop a deep understanding of Morgan Stanley’s credit risk analytics models.
Participate in research, development, and implementation of credit risk models
Perform econometric analyses to support methodology development
Support backtesting, stress testing, scenario analyses and sensitivity studies
Analyze model changes and perform data analyses for various purposes including model improvement
Partner with teams across Risk Analytics, technology, model risk management, credit risk officers and other teams throughout FRM and the Firm.
Qualification:
- Up to 10 years of work experience in quantitative modeling, Risk Management, algorithmic trading, global markets or any other quantitative/Data Science field.
- Prior work experience with credit markets and products. Prior work experience in a bank credit-related department. Examples include credit trading, origination, underwriting, leveraged finance, CVA.
- The candidate needs to be familiar with statistical techniques viz. Regressions Analysis, Hypothesis testing et al.
- Understanding of financial institutions regulatory frameworks. Examples include IRB, CECL, CCAR, Dodd-Frank and Basel.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to work with diverse cultures in a global team.
- Strong knowledge of financial products e.g. MBS, CRE, Bonds etc.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in one of the programming languages R, Python, MATLAB, SQL, C# or C++ is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (Oral and written). Ability to communicate and present logically, precisely and in simple manner, complex and technical issues.
- Attention to details and ability to work under pressure and cope with a fast moving environment.
Required:
- Graduate/Under-graduate/Post Graduates/ Advance degrees in finance, mathematics, physics econometrics, engineering or other quantitative subjects.
- Candidates should have a strong theoretical foundation in mathematics, quantitative finance and derivatives.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in programming languages.
Desirable:
- PRM/FRM, CFA, CQF certification is an advantage.
- Quantitative modeling experience in Finance/ Data Science
- Knowledge of risk mitigation practices and experience with Basel II/III/IV rules will be considered advantageous.
- Experience in AI, ML, NLP, Big Data Analytics, Tableau is an advantage.

Associate/ Sr. Associate – MSET Support Role-[Institutional Equity Division] – India
Job Responsibilities:
- Management / maintenance of MSET risk limits
- Reviewing limits across different cash and derivative products
- Development and maintenance of risk exception reports
- Monitoring intraday limit changes and flagging exceptions to MSET Coverages
- Coordination of weekly Client Selection Committee meetings
- Risk limit policy monitoring
- Maintenance of MSET Client types
- Development and coordination of periodic reviews of lower value clients, coordination of off-boarding where necessary
- Creating Monthly Risk decks ahead of the Risk Limit Review meeting
Qualification:
The basic skills required for the role are the ability to learn quickly how to navigate databases, manipulate data from these confidently in Excel and respond to requests promptly. Whilst specific knowledge of the Cash Equities business is not critical an understanding of the product and the trading risks associated would be an advantage.
- BMS/Graduate with 1 – 3 years of experience. MBA would be advantageous.
- Exposure/knowledge of different equity and equity derivatives products is desirable.
- Excellent written & spoken English; Excellent business writing skills
- Excellent telephone skills (regular phone contact with team required)
- Advanced knowledge and extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel including macros and visual basic (preferable).
