Credit Risk (Risk Management), Associate – Singapore

Job Description:

Assist credit risk managers in managing a complex credit portfolio across Pan Asia. We are looking for someone eager to leverage a strong technical background [i.e. Excel, SQL, PowerBI] in fast moving wealth management environment [i.e. complex financial products].

Provide analytical support for complex derivative products across wealth management platforms;
Understand and take ownership of the various stress testing processes in the region;
Support legal entity credit risk managers with capital planning projects;
Assist in creating and managing high quality credit reporting for senior management and regulatory purpose;
Liaise with global credit and risk team members on tasks involving credit portfolio management, stress testing, data quality management, credit reporting and other ad hoc tasks.
Requirements

Qualification:

Degree holder with quantitative / statistics skills. Skills in a finance related subject preferred;
Python, Excel VBA/ SQL and PowerBI ability are a clear requirement;
Good understanding of inputs, assumptions, parameter calibration, and output related to credit portfolio risk models and stress testing models;
Knowledge / modeling skills in trading products especially in exotics across fixed income, equity, foreign exchange preferred;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and desire to learn and develop

NFR Data & Analytics – Data Governance and Visualization Associate – Europe

You will join a Data and Analytics team who is responsible for establishing strong data governance, building and leveraging data analytics and executing on our data centric strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in various Data and Analytics related projects and working groups, including, Data Governance, Data Analytics, and Visualization and Reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and transform into effective reporting products, including visualizations.

Use visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI) to design, develop, and implement interactive reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights
Participate in Data Governance, and Data Analytics, and Visualization and Reporting. related projects and working groups.

Support Non-Financial Risk management by deriving actionable insights from data and leveraging quantitative and statistical techniques.

Provide guidance to key stakeholders on how to adopt data visualization and reporting best practices and/or leverage data analytics to solve problems.

Enhance program processes where opportunities exist and perform analysis to support strategic projects that add value to LCD.

Help maintain reporting data quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

2 years of experience in a data-related role including data visualization, reporting or data quality related role.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of Regulatory landscape – Operational Risk, Compliance, Financial Crimes, or other areas of financial regulatory requirements and expectations (domestic and international)

Associate/Senior Associate, Mumbai

MSFS plays a key role in the initial processing of investor information for Hedge Funds. (Daily/Weekly/Monthly NAV), Private Equity, UCITs, Equalizations and ICAVs.

Job Requirement: 

Graduate or MBA or Postgraduate in Management – preferably in a business or numerical discipline.
Experience –1 to 5 years of work experience preferably in financial services with Investor servicing experience for Private Equity and/or Hedge fund.
Knowledge of Private Equity fund structure, Equalization fund, ICAVs, UCITs, Hedge Funds, Master Feeder structure, Standalone funds and role of each entity is great advantage.
Good administrative and organisational skills with a particular focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Deep understanding and appreciation of a domicile, operation, regulatory requirement, and various requests exist in IS space.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organization skills
Ability to communicate with various internal teams to resolve fund inquiry and understanding when to escalate.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask and work efficiently to meet client deliverables. Ability to perform effectively within strict client deadlines.

Associate Supervision ISG Management – India

Job Responsibilities :

Reviewing internal policy breaches on a daily basis, investigate, educate and escalate as necessary
Trend and identify repeat behaviours and establish a process to address recurrence
Reviewing electronic communications and escalating where these are not in line with internal policies
Create management reports to highlight issues, trends, new regulatory changes etc.
Support BU projects to create, enhance or develop procedures/protocols.
Engaging with other regional RCG teams to focus on and deliver increased automation and standardization across applicable surveillance processes
Engaging with ISG contacts and other stakeholders to build awareness of Non- Financial Risk and RCG’s continued focus on proactive and effective surveillance and supervision
Drive discussion with relevant Risk and Compliance contacts to validate the existing review process and alert disposition logic
Help ensure that ISG activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory and Firm requirements
Partner with stakeholders to design and implement new reports to assist with the Firm keeping pace with the evolving Regulatory environment
Partner in projects related to improving the review process, reduce false positives or further enhance the report logic

Qualification:

Graduate/ Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance etc.
1-3 years with knowledge/ background in Compliance, Risk Management, Trade surveillance or Trading Support focusing on sales and trading issues
Ability to work independently
Exceptional organizational skills and high degree of attention to detail
Knowledge of Equities markets, understanding of applicable regulatory rules and regulations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
An understanding of and strong focus on the mechanics of a control environment, including escalation and risk-related issues
Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
