Job Description:
You’ll act as a trusted advisor and on-the-ground expert for environmental matters across site operations. Your work will support compliance, identify opportunities for improvement, and help us meet both our legal obligations and our ambitious sustainability targets.
Job Responsibilities :
Supporting compliance with environmental legislation and site permits
Monitoring environmental performance across air, water, waste and emissions
Carrying out audits and inspections and supporting follow-up actions
Working with the Environment Agency and other regulatory bodies
Supporting risk assessments, incident investigations and improvement initiatives
Engaging with teams across the business to embed best practice
The Environmental Engineer will be part of a site-based team that values practical solutions, collaborative working and continuous improvement.
Qualification:
We’re looking for someone with a solid technical grounding and a practical, solutions-focused approach. You should feel confident working across functions and engaging people at all levels.
A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related subject
Knowledge of UK environmental regulations and permitting
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
A proactive and well-organised approach to managing your workload
Experience with ISO 14001, Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR), or working with the Environment Agency would be helpful but isn’t essential.

Project Engineer Electrical

As a Project Engineer, you will create project plans and proposals that will support and improve our business. You’ll oversee all stages of projects that are assigned to you, from initial concept, through execution to final acceptance, ensuring all work meets the relevant standards and guidelines from a design, safety and environmental standpoint. You will support by drafting technical specifications and requests for quotations from OEMs and contractor partners.
Your role involves the overseeing of project engineering activities to ensure the area you are responsible for is completed on time and to budget, safely and to the designed standard. Problem-solving and liaising with internal and external stakeholders is critical to your success.
Qualification:
The Project Engineer will hold a strong background within the Heavy Industry sector.
A degree in Engineering and Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not essential. A solid understanding of project management techniques, risk assessment, and safety study methods is ideal, however, individuals who are successful will be expected to develop themselves and training will be provided. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will represent the business externally and act as a company ambassador.
A high level of engineering competency in Electrical disciplines is expected.
You should also have excellent time management, problem solving and analytical abilities.

Job Description:
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex electrical projects that drive our site’s performance and long-term sustainability. From concept through to commissioning, you’ll take ownership of planning, designing, and executing electrical work that meets business needs while upholding our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
You’ll work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to deliver technical solutions, manage compliance with industry standards, and support ongoing asset improvement initiatives. Responsibilities will include:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned work.
Create and review electrical design specifications, schematics, and drawings. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel and contractors.
Facilitate the identification and procurement of equipment spares in conjunction with the development of Planned Maintenance schemes.
Qualification:
We’re looking for a qualified and driven Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in delivering industrial electrical projects and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
A degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years’ industry experience, ideally in heavy industry, manufacturing, or large-scale engineering environments.
Strong project management and leadership skills, with a track record of coordinating teams, managing budgets, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Familiarity with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and a solid understanding of health and safety legislation, compliance, and risk assessments.
You’ll also bring excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

We’re looking for a Specialist Electrical Engineer to join our CRP Engineering team. This role plays a key part in driving the reliability, safety and efficiency of our electrical systems – and is well-suited to someone who combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership, planning and compliance capability.
As the Specialist Electrical Engineer, you’ll act as the technical lead for both high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems, supporting complex fault-finding and system enhancements. You’ll provide guidance to engineering and maintenance teams, ensuring all work complies with business processes, site standards, and statutory obligations. Ideally, you’ll have experience working with HV networks up to 11kV, protection systems, harmonic filtering, LV interconnected systems, and DC systems.
Qualification:
A degree, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting
A strong understanding of electrical regulations, safety rules (e.g. EAWR), and permit systems
Experience with high voltage and low voltage equipment, fault finding and protection systems
A proactive, analytical mindset and confidence leading compliance activity
Strong communication and influencing skills across disciplines and levels
Knowledge of SAP PM, network infrastructure, or relevant ISO/COMAH standards would be beneficial.

Process Control & Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and resolving faults in control systems and manufacturing equipment
Maintaining and developing Level 0–3 systems (PLC, SCADA, data acquisition, instrumentation, CCTV)
Administering local networks, control rooms, and operational infrastructure
Maintaining backups, cyber compliance, and disaster recovery for automation systems
Managing calibration and performance of quality assurance instrumentation
Supporting environmental and safety instrumentation in line with compliance requirements
Acting as lead engineer on minor PC&A projects and supervising internal/external contractors
Coordinating spares planning and the PC&A Failure Strategies Asset (FSA)
Supporting training of site personnel and identifying future development needs
Authorising and managing work permits (CAT1/2/3) for maintenance and engineering activities
Qualification:
We’re looking for a technically strong and organised engineer who thrives in a complex, safety-critical environment. You’ll need:
A degree, HNC or HND in Electrical, Control or Automation Engineering, with relevant experience
A strong understanding of control systems architecture, instrumentation, and industrial networks
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills across a range of control assets
Familiarity with SAP PM, permit systems, and engineering planning
Confidence interpreting P&ID and electrical drawings
An understanding of safety systems (LOPA, SIL, SIF), ISO standards, and compliance frameworks
A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and support wider teams
Previous supervisory experience and involvement in compliance (e.g. COMAH, HAZOP) would be highly advantageous.
