Shell Graduate Program – Senior Road Transport Compliance Coordinator
We are looking for ambitious graduates with a master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations with engineering background with less than three years of experience to help us tackle the energy challenge – now and in the future. Individuals with sound Contract management, Problem solving skills, Negotiation skills and Safety and local logistic legislation knowledge are preferred.
Job Description:
The Senior Road Transport Compliance Coordinator is accountable for ensuring overall compliance of Shell Road Transport operation with a specific focus on ensuring contracted drivers and trucks meet the Shell requirements and drivers are operating against agreed processes. The SRTCC is responsible for managing overall day to day relationship with multiple hauliers and contractors operating out of a location. The scope will cover ensuring Road Transport operation including Road Transport contractors comply to both Shell framework and local legal regulation while executing the scope of contract.
Special challenges:
Long delivery distances coupled with small and fragmented haulier base
Shell’s expectation on Safety and compliance and relatively poor standards followed across industry
Frequently changing supply and delivery plans – fragile supply chain.
Shortage of competent Safely resources with hauliers for enforcing MODE2(Dedicated) contracts in line with expected outcome
