Pulse Co-coordinator – Europe
THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will provide technical administration support and coordination within Vehicle Engineering.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
·Identifying, analysing and reporting daily/weekly metrics.
·Supporting development of high level plans to successfully deliver the project.
·Working in conjunction with engineers and suppliers to meet delivery requirements.
·Creating process flow and guidance documents to facilitate and effectively manage engineering processes and metrics.
·Supporting the Vehicle Programme Lead co-ordinate all activities to ensure robust delivery of vehicle programmes. Activities include:
Change Management
Issue management
Release Management
Project milestone / gateway report outs
Requirement/ Test Task Management
·Tracking and maintaining progress of gateway deliverables on a daily basis.
·Ensuring engineers and suppliers adherences to process discipline.
·Leading and attending meetings with Programme Team to ensure requirements are understood and are included within programme planning etc.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
·Programme Management Office or similar experience is required.
·Knowledge of automotive product development processes would be an advantage.
·Ability to lead the resolution of issues within a team environment, interfacing directly with engineering personnel at all levels.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a ‘passion for the product’
·Applicants need to be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and advanced Excel), & Project.
·Self-motivated and able to deliver with limited supervision.
·Experience of project planning would be an advantage.
·PRINCE2 certification (or equivalent) would be beneficial.
