Merchandising Operations Analyst – (USA)
Job Description:
Conducts data analysis to drive business decisions by understanding business requirements and requests; determining needed data based on business requests; gathering data from internal and external sources; researching and evaluating environmental factors (for example, competition, customer needs, frequency) that could affect business outcomes; synthesizing data to ensure it is telling a consistent story; analyzing business trends; predicting future trends and their impact to the business; identifying potential business opportunities based on analysis and findings (for example, correlations, clustering); and recommending solutions and future strategies based on findings.
Providing guidance on business processes and strategies by analyzing and mining data to identify areas of opportunities and gaps; interpreting results to provide localized data for specific business needs; benchmarking with key leaders to determine best practices; identifying innovative approaches to solve business issues; providing data to support business cases; defining and tracking performance metrics; supporting recommendations to cross-functional teams regarding gaps and solutions; and supporting the implementation of solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in business analysis, business operations, or related field.
