Computer Engineering, Entry Level –
Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the application(s) integration in existing architectures (e.g. printers), life cycle management including field problem debugging and general maintenance/upgrades to support new features, H/W and/or Operating System changes. The engineer will also assume the same level of responsibilities for existing H/W and F/W applications. In addition, the individual will be expected to support other code development activities outside his/her key deliverables as necessary. It will be a fast pace environment, requiring a proactive individual who goes above and beyond what is minimally required efficiently seeking the information necessary to deliver in a timely and quality fashion. Real-time support and resolution of issues affecting manufacturing line production, field applications and/or integration activities is an important aspect of the job.
SKILLS:
Good understanding of circuitry/electronics, ARM microcontrollers and FPGA in-depth programming development and integration experience using industry standard development.
Excellent Object-Oriented Programming skills and knowledge/understanding of C and C# languages.
Familiarity with motion control subsystems & electronic components and their design.
Discipline, knowledge and experience using source code version control.
Hands-on approach to solving problems and developing solutions.
Must have strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
Must have strong communication and team building skills.
Experience using MS Visual Studio is highly desired
Experience with BitBucket is a plus.
Knowledge of Python is a plus
Must have a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
