We are actively seeking talented professionals to join our Engineering and Production Departments at Tata Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Hosur.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 4 to 8 years of experience and a Diploma or Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical.

Interested candidates who are open to rotational shifts are invited to walk in for a face-to-face interview this Saturday.

Available Positions:

Fixtures Maintenance – Planned / Unplanned Maintenance

• Proficiency in operation and maintenance of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems

• Experience with fixture troubleshooting and preventive maintenance

• Strong understanding of GD&T, CP, CPK methodologies and performance of new fixture bring-up, validation, and proving

• Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, sensors, and relay functions

• Familiarity with PLC systems is a plus (Control Engineers)

Equipment Maintenance – SMT/MLB

• Expertise in programming and troubleshooting SMT machines, including ASM Paste Printers, SPI, Mounters, Reflow Profiling, Routers, Glue Dispensing, and Laser Marking Machines

• Strong understanding of the PCBA/SMT manufacturing process

• Basic knowledge of industry-standard testing procedures and quality control practices •Extensive documentation experience, including PM Checklists, Work Instructions (Wls), and System Procedures

• Familiarity with CP/CPK studies for SMT machines on the production line

Process Engineering – SMT/MLB

• In-depth knowledge of PCBA/SMT processes

• Experience in failure analysis and the development of corrective action plans

• Understanding of industry-standard testing procedures and quality control practices

• Expertise in creating and managing documentation such as PFMEA, PFC Work Instructions (Wls), and System Procedures

• Proficient in CP/CPK analysis of solder paste printing and reflow machines

• Experience with New Product Introductions (NPI) and process control methodologies

• Knowledge of programming and troubleshooting in the SMT environment

Testing Engineer – FATP

• Expertise in testing Radio Frequency (RF) technologies, including Cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth

• Hands-on experience with wireless test equipment (CMW, Anritsu, Keysight)

• Strong understanding of high-volume manufacturing environments

• Knowledge of Python and scripting languages is a plus

• Experience in Functional Circuit Testing (FCT), firmware, and software testing

• Familiarity with 8D and CAPA report methodologies

• Experience in New Product Introductions (NPI) and knowledge of calibration and regulatory compliance testing

Failure Analysis – FATP

• Expertise in FATP online assembly and reflow repair processes

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability (CP/CPK) to drive data-driven decision-making

• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, perform stack-up analysis, and carry out necessary calculations

• Proficient in risk analysis and making data-informed decisions

• Skilled in graphing and analysis using tools such as JMP or Minitab

• Strong database management and reporting capabilities

• Ability to create and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and Work Instructions (Wls)

• Experience in operating and reviewing equipment reports (e.g., OMM, CMM, CT, SEM

Repair Engineering – SMT/MLB

• Experience in the EMS industry, particularly in manual soldering and desoldering techniques

• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing hardware issues in mobile phones

• Solid knowledge of RF equipment to analyze RF-related failures

• Ability to manage inventory and control rejection rates

• Skilled in categorizing rework levels and resolving related issues

• Expertise in component analysis and interpreting schematic diagrams

Repair Engineering – FATP

• Proficient in diagnosing and debugging production-related issues

• Ability to meet productivity and quality standards

• Knowledgeable in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and bills of materials (BOMs)

• Strong experience in managing inventory and rejection control processes

• Ability to classify rework levels and resolve associated issues

• Expertise in analysing schematic diagrams and components

Industrial Engineering

• Experience in capacity planning, layout planning, and manpower optimization

• Strong ability to calculate and analyse key performance metrics such as Units Per Hour (UPH), Units Per Person Hour (UPH), Production Order Requisitions, Value Stream Mapping, and Time Division

• Hands-on experience with work measurement tools like MOST and MODAPTS

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Ergonomics, REBA, RULA, and SDFM is a plus
