Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Bachelor’s or Master’s student to undertake a thesis project focused on global and static data reordering using LLVM. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge compiler optimization techniques, enhancing the performance of software systems through data layout transformations. The reordering will be based on CPU performance events, providing a practical and data-driven approach to optimization.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct research and a literature review on static data layout optimization techniques and their impact on program performance.
Collaborate with compiler engineers to develop a prototype or extend existing LLVM passes for global static data reordering based on CPU performance events.
Analyze the performance impact of data reordering on various software benchmarks and real-world applications.
Collaborate with domain experts and supervisors to refine approaches and validate results.

Qualifications:

Photonics Research Graduate Intern
Job Description:
Intel Labs is seeking a Photonics Research Intern to join our Photonics Research Lab. This role involves collaborating with researchers on the design, fabrication, and characterization of silicon-based photonics devices for optical communications and sensing applications. The intern will develop measurement and data acquisition techniques, perform optical and electrical testing, and conduct simulation and data analysis. The internship is typically for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal up to 12 months.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the design and fabrication of silicon-based photonics devices.
Develop and implement techniques for measuring and acquiring data to characterize photonics devices.
Conduct optical and electrical testing, simulation, and data analysis.
Collaborate effectively with researchers and interdisciplinary teams.
Communicate research findings and progress clearly and professionally.
Demonstrate strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
Work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and project management.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

Facilities Technician Intern
Job Description:
Safely troubleshoot errors, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment to maintain uptime goals.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures and systems .
Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems.
Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties, including procedure documentation updates as-needed.
Assignments are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters.
Utilizing and developing technical troubleshooting skills to solve daily tactical operational issues. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems.
Qualifications:
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Candidate must be pursuing an Associates of Arts or Associates of Science or similar Trade undergraduate degree in HVAC, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Controls, Electrical, Chemical/Chemistry, Microelectronics, Renewable Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Water / Purification, Plumbing and Gas Fitting, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Process Operator, or related technical or STEM field.

Preferred Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be available for a minimum of 3+month internship designed to develop your skills to operate industrial systems.
Candidate must be willing to Lift 25-pound parts up to 1-3 times (on average) per shift, climb and perform work on ladders up to 1-2 times (on average) per shift, and walk 3-5 miles per shift Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Maximo and CDOCs, ILM QEF portal
Working knowledge of Pumps, Compressors, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Dryers, Fans, Motors, Filters, Boiler, Strainers, Heat Exchangers and Coils.
Experience in facilities operations or maintenance, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
