Job Description:
In this position you will be responsible for providing support to the GFPS commercial team to proactively manage the shipments, ensuring great service quality at all times. You will act as the liaison between the customers, GFPS team and the Express network. You will ensure Market leading service excellence by providing a 100% commitment to be “INSANELY CUSTOMER CENTRIC”.
Global Executive desk (GED) is a 24×7 Department so an advisor is required to be flexible. An advisor may be asked to work on weekend or late night shifts for maintaining optimum head count in all contingencies.
GFPS Executive desk Advisor
Responsibilities:
Ad-hoc reporting as required by GFPS management and provide analytical support where needed.
Consult with GFPS team, customer service and the DHL network to achieve the service standards for Customer programs/projects
Drive service and quality performance in line with Service Level Agreements and priorities.
Provide customers with a pro-active customer service including;
Proactive management of undeliverable shipments from end to end
Alerting customers to service suspensions or delays in transit
Contacting customers to obtain written approval for disposal
Daily and weekly reporting management
Skills Required
Thorough understanding of DHL’s procedures, processes, policies and Global SOP
DETAILED UNDERSTANDING OF THE DHL NETWORK
Experience in GFPS, Customer Service, Key Accounts or sales support environments
STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS (ENGLISH), SPOKEN AND WRITTEN
EXCELLENT TELEPHONE MANNER
GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Software skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work under pressure and to aggressive timescales
A Level or equivalent
