Job Description:

The Citi apprentice is an entry level position at Citi where the student will receive a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi. Apprentices receive real-world work and add value to their teams during their time at Citi.

Program Duration: 12 months.

Eligibility

Not more than 5 years of difference between graduation end date and Joining date.
Should not have enrolled in any prior Government Apprenticeship programs.
Should not have been registered on EPF/ ESIC Portal
Apprentices who enroll should have their Aadhaar seeded with their personal mobile no. and personal email id. This is a mandate.

Banking – Business Analytics Spec – C05

This group provides global business information, administrative, and helpdesk support.

Retrieving business and financial information by leveraging a broad range of resources, such as online databases, internet sources, print sources, trade association etc.
Collaborating closely with global staff requesting information to ensure timely processing of requests and consistent quality assurance.

Compliance Responsibilities:-

Comply with the ethical standards outlined in the Citi Code of Conduct.
Ensure the protection of private and confidential information obtained during the course of work from unauthorized disclosure. The individual is obligated to safeguard Confidential Information from loss or misuse and to use it solely in the performance of their employment responsibilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Graduate degree required (e.g., B.Com, BMS, BFM, BAF, BBI, BBA).
Availability: Ability to work in shifts within a fast-paced, 24×7 operational environment.
Financial Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial concepts.
Teamwork: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and facilitate appropriate knowledge and information sharing.
Work Ethic: Must be able to perform accurately and efficiently under pressure, prioritizing workload to meet tight deadlines.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with global coordinators and teams regarding various projects and assignments.
Technical Skills (Preferred): Knowledge of basic information retrieval systems, such as Factiva and Thomson Reuters products.
Business Information Acumen (Preferred): Understanding of various types of business information, including public and private company filing requirements/data, news, M&A and capital issues, fundamentals, broker research, earnings estimates, and ownership data.
Critical Thinking: Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgment.
