Morgan Stanley Digital Virtual Associate Internship

The Summer Intern program is a 10-week program which includes one week of training. As a Summer Intern, you will work alongside and support full-time Digital Virtual Engagement Associates in their efforts to leverage Morgan Stanley’s state-of-the-art tools on behalf of experienced Financial Advisors, helping them develop their businesses and increase client engagement. In addition to your immersion in the Digital Virtual Engagement Associate role, you will gain valuable exposure to the broader Virtual Engagement Program, Business Development & Field Training, and Wealth Management. Over the course of the Summer, interns who have not passed the Securities Industry Exam (SIE) prior to joining the Summer program will have the opportunity to prepare and sit for the exam with the goal of passing before the end of the Summer.

Digital VEA – 2023 Summer Intern

Job Description:
Use the Firm’s digital tools on behalf of Financial Advisors to enhance client relationships and generate increased business.
Drive adoption of the Goals Based Wealth Management strategy with Financial Advisors.
Manage Financial Advisor’s digital presence via channels such as Social Media and Financial Advisor Websites. Tasks would include (but not limited to) initial set-up, monitoring metrics, and updating / posting new content.
Publish client newsletters, created from pre-approved content, on behalf of Financial Advisors to create consistent communication catered to specific audiences.
Proactively analyze client relationships and make recommendations to Financial Advisors on how to supplement the client experience.
Establish, maintain and support strong working relationships with their Financial Advisors. Demonstrate accountability and a strong work ethic to promote confidence and trust in their work.

Qualifications:
You are pursuing an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024 at an accredited college/university; concentration or coursework in business-related field is preferred.
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam completion is preferred prior to start of the internship.
Possess exemplary communication, presentation and time-management skills.
Stay organized, focused, and highly disciplined. Be able to keep track of simultaneous competing needs of their assigned Financial Advisors and execute on all necessary actions in a timely manner.
