AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Engineer for employment in the Cleveland, OH office. The Entry Level Engineer will work on projects involving comprehensive planning, stormwater infrastructure, site/civil design, remediation design, and construction and engineering services

Entry Level Engineer, Cleveland, Ohio

he responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Supporting site/civil design projects, including developing grading, drainage, and stormwater management, and transportation plans.

Develop engineering related calculations and develop high-quality technical reports and design drawings and specifications while working under the supervision of a Sr. Engineer.

Travel to project sites as needed to attend client meetings or provide short-term construction oversight.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Willingness to travel (20% required) and have a valid drivers license.

4 year bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

0-2 years of relevant experience.

Must have taken and passed the Engineer In Training Exam in the State of Ohio and/or other states with the ability to obtain an Ohio EIT within 6 months.

Goal oriented and working towards obtaining a PE

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Highly motivated and willingness to learn with a desire to work in a dynamic and fast pace deadline driven environment.

Demonstrate knowledge in analysis and design, including competency the following key areas:

Stormwater management/SWPPP development.

Hydraulic/hydrologic modeling.

Landfill design experience.

Site-civil design experience.

Demonstrate experience in developing drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D:

Create Civil 3D surfaces & grading.

Process and evaluate raw survey data.

Create alignments, profiles, sections, pipe networks.

Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
