Service Specialist – Europe
As Aftersales Specialist your mission is to enhance the reputation of our products: quality, reliability and serviceability. You will report to the Technical Support Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Offering day by day timely service support to the Customer Centers
Continuously improve the product quality by a proactive failure reporting follow up. This includes analyzing warranty reports, be the driving force in the technical committee meetings (TCM) and participating in the product quality meetings (PQM)
Inform the customer centers via Service bulletins and the Service Website about products improvements and actions to be taken.
Play an active role in product development to assure the highest level of serviceability and lowest lifecycle cost by giving a strong involvement in the project team meetings (PTM)
Provide accurate and up to date service information related to the product range. Develop documentation, service kits and tools for improving serviceability
Provide and develop technical training in conjunction with the com
Qualification:
Candidate has an engineering degree.
Technical knowledge on compressors, dryers and compressed air ancillaries is necessary.
You have a good knowledge of English. An additional language is considered a plus.
Software skills e.g. MS Office, Lotus Notes, BPCS would be an asset.

Applications Engineer
Job Description:
Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on applications involving reciprocating compressor valves and related systems.
Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and sales team to review project requirements, develop proposals, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Provide engineering input and support across the full sales lifecycle—from initial project scoping, site data collection, and technical solution development to implementation and after-sales support.
Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of compressor valves; collect operational data for continuous improvement and diagnostics.
Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
Maintain detailed records of installations, field performance, and customer feedback to support product improvements and innovation.
Contribute to the development of marketing and training materials, including application notes, case studies, and user guides.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical systems, preferably involving reciprocating compressors or similar equipment.
Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with the ability to analyze and interpret performance data and mechanical drawings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
Willing and able to travel domestically and occasionally internationally as required.

Compressor Support Engineer – United States
Join Atlas Copco as a Commissioning Support Engineer where you will technically assist and coordinate all required resources to achieve the overall startup of compressors/equipment from commissioning conception to commercial handover. You will also provide product support and project management in the commissioning of centrifugal compressors. As part of the Technical Support Team, you will report to the Commissioning Manager and work with other Aftermarket teams including Field Service, Engineered Solutions, and Aftermarket Parts. This is a hybrid position located in Voorheesville, NY.
Qualification:
You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or have at least 5 years of experience with centrifugal compressor commissioning.
You can oversee a commissioning support project from inquiry to completion.
Ability to occasionally travel, including national and international travel up to 5% annually.
