Corporate Development & Transaction Services Summer Analyst – Canada

Job Description:
The Corporate Development & Transaction Services Summer Analyst will be part of a structured rotational program which will provide them the opportunity to rotate through multiple industries, offerings, and transaction types and experience all the different facets of CDTS. During the 10-week internship, the CDTS intern will take on the roles and responsibilities of an entry-level analyst, including the following:

Participate in transaction reviews in advance of signature with Managing Directors of the firm
Work with client budgets, forecasts and leverage client cost data to develop cost baselines and client business cases
Assist sales teams in targeting prospective clients, leveraging capital IQ and other publicly available information
Support client business case development to help clients quantify and understand the value Accenture creates
Identify and quantify costs to perform the cost buildup for an individual opportunity
Work with Senior CDTS leadership to support complex pricing models
Create sensitivity analysis based on cost saving opportunities or other levers within the deal
Ensure revenue recognition is US GAAP compliant and Accenture Policies are reflected accurately within the financial models
Record, acquire, and maintain all documents supporting the costing and pricing on all new opportunities, including assumptions and version control documentation

Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance OR Other Business-related major with a graduation date between December 2022 and May 2023
Have spent time learning and practicing financial accounting and financial modelling:
Have knowledge with Excel
Can work on more than one project at a time
Like to work both independently and as part of a team
Feel comfortable talking with senior managers
Have a phenomenal attention to detail
