University Graduate (U.S.) – Field Construction Engineering Specialist – USA

Job Responsibilities

Track installations
Buy needed materials, ensure accuracy of product, and plan for future material needs
Help ensure our computer systems are sharing data correctly
Complete quality inspections
Coordinate with Supervision and Subcontractors to plan/support schedules
Work with the customer to resolve problems
Monitor engineering to make sure we are getting what we need on time

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or another relevant technical discipline from an accredited university
Ability to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H)
Demonstrated commitment to a Zero Accident safety program
Must be computer-literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Experience resolving problems involving multiple parties
Strong communication skills

2024 University Graduate (U.S.) – Project Controls (Estimating, Scheduling & Cost) Engineer – USA

Supports cost estimating, analysis, and control activities and schedule development, maintenance, reporting, and monitoring activities, as directed. For a large project or staff group, duties encompass a variety of tasks, but remain within parameters established by the procedure or process being supported. For a medium project staff group, duties encompass a variety of tasks that are required to support the project/group.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related Business degree
Ability to conduct site walkdowns which may consist of climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces and within confined spaces, with reasonable accommodations
Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred:

Working knowledge of Primavera or Microsoft Project Scheduling software, Power BI, Access, and/or Excel
Prior internship experience working in an engineering, project management, construction management environment
Prior internship or college project experience in estimating, planning and scheduling, budget control and cost control
Basic understanding of technical processes, interpretation of engineering drawings, and project management practices associated with engineering and construction projects

2024 University Graduate (U.S.) – Safety Specialist

Job Responsibilities

Assists in integrating safety and health requirements into project planning and construction.
Interprets requirements and provides technical assistance to other project groups regarding risk assessment, plan preparation, and ES&H program execution.
Identifies regulatory requirements and prepares documentation and reports.
Provides technical guidance for safety studies, risk and hazard assessments, and other safety and health reviews.
Assists in the development and implementation of the project Safety and Health Management Plan, associated plans and procedures, and training program.
Helps develop and implement safety and health communication and awareness measures involving training presentations, flyers, posters, signage, and other communication and training media.
Participates in emergency response and aids the investigation and resolution of safety-related incidents.
Assists in identifying stakeholders and resolving their concerns.
Provides safety input to other project groups, so that ES&H requirements are integrated within project planning, design, construction plans, procurement, and subcontracts.
Participates in meetings, as required, with customers, project team members, and contractors/subcontractors to advise them of safety and health requirements.
Conducts inspections and monitoring to help evaluate ES&H performance, identify corrective actions, and confirm compliance with contract, regulatory, project, and Bechtel requirements.
Assists in tracking ES&H performance and trends and preparing reports.
Supports other ES&H team members and tasks associated with all three ES&H disciplines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (or equivalent), or a Master of Science (MS) degree, in Occupational Safety or Safety Management from an accredited university or college.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing abilities.
Ability to research and comprehend organizational and regulatory requirements.
Technical knowledge and experience related to occupational safety and health.
Computer skills for preparing presentations, data management, and report preparation.
Analytical skills related to sampling, monitoring, and recordkeeping.
Experience training and teaching others.
Valid driver’s license.

Additional:
