IS&T Help Desk Analyst
Investigates and resolves problems and provides information about the technology to the users and to service delivery.
Respond to customer needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective, and timely manner.
Creates and maintains trouble tickets, configuration, and inventory records; creates process maps.
Performs specific tasks while utilizing prescribed information technology methods.
Performs a range of tasks in a variety of contexts, without frequent reference to others.
When performing duties as a desktop operations associate:
Performs hardware and software moves, adds, and changes.
Migrates data and user accounts as required.
Conducts tests of standard hardware and/or software affected using supplied test procedures and diagnostic tools.
Assists to resolve problems and faults concerning the installation of hardware or software.
Basic knowledge of infrastructure systems architecture concepts, configurations, and standards.
Basic knowledge of corporate, industry and professional standards.
Basic knowledge of project management concepts and tools.
Ability to handle customer interactions in an accurate, effective, and timely manner.
Ability to articulate ideas and write clear and concise reports.
The above may be acquired through:
Recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or Practical work experience in Information Technology or other relevant experience.
