Graduate Software Engineering Programme 2026
Graduate Software Engineer – Insights & Data (I&D) / Custom Software Development (CSD) Practice`s
We are looking for tech passionate individuals to want to start their career in the IT industry.
You will be joining a significant business area working for our largest UK public sector client working with inspiring experts from whom you can learn from and enjoy the career opportunities this brings.
This role is only available to be based in our office in Telford, West Midlands. As such you will need to be based within a commutable distance of 90 minutes to the Telford office, where you should expect to typically be in our office 3 days a week. This specific role is not available to be based in any other UK office, but other opportunities on our website have more flexibility on locations.
As a Graduate Software Engineer with a strong foundation in computer science and a keen interest in data and software development. You’ll contribute to innovative projects across cloud, data, and software engineering domains.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Understanding of software testing and quality assurance.
Knowledge of frameworks and development stacks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, MEAN).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Awareness of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
Basic cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
