Maintenance Engineer
Job Description:
• Responsibility for Health, Safety and Welfare including colleagues and adherence to all relevant regulations and site safety procedures including the use of PPE as required.
• All plant and equipment to be maintained in accordance with site approved maintenance schedules and relevant legal standards.
• Ensure all items of the plant operate efficiently and safely through completion of proactive and reactive maintenance, identify and complete root cause analyses of repetitive issues.
• Identifying opportunities of improvement that will benefit the Site Automation in terms of safety, quality, performance and efficiency.
• City & Guilds or BTEC qualification Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• General Engineering Experience gained within a FMCG environment
• Planned Preventive Maintenance experience
• Strong Health & Safety background including Risk Assessments and SSOW systems
• Able to prioritize workload and tasks to maximize operational efficiency
